JSTARC masters successfully complete Foreigner’s Taekwondo Training Course from Kukkiwon.
A team of 4 masters from JSTARC including Master Nilesh Jalnawala recently attended & completed the 20th Foreigner's Taekwondo Training Course.

This 6 day course was held by the World Taekwondo Academy Kukkiwon. It witnessed a participation of 110 Masters from around 35 countries who undertook training under 3 levels. The training was given by Kukkiwon Grandmasters Chong-Kwan Lee, In-Sik Hwang, Ik-Pil Kang & Jong-Beom Park. The fighting sessions were conducted by 4 times world champion Grandmaster Chang Myung Sam & the topics related to common injury etc were covered by Kim, Jeong Weon. Valuable inputs in demonstration techniques were given by the head coach of Korea National Demo, Kwak. Taek Yong.

- Master Jai Kumar Kannan (Level 3)
- Debabrata Dutta (Level 3)
- H.L. Muthappa (Level 3)
This course covered the topics related to the teaching methods, Human Anatomy, Theories in Demonstration, Poomsae, Kyorugi etc., Paramedic treatments & Prehospital Management, competition rules & referee signals.

JSTARC masters are among the very few in India to have attended such training programs. The technical Director of JSTARC Master Nilesh Jalnawala was awarded a Diploma for his outstanding performance among the trainees. This is the second time he has received this certificate, the 1st being in 2005. Only 10 masters were awarded this diploma in this course. He says, "Courses in terms of advance training are conducted by international Taekwondo associations from time to time. I insist that my coaches & trainers must attend them in order to keep them abreast of the new methods & latest knowledge. The students will surely benefit from their coaches who have successfully completed such sessions."
