JSTARC to introduce Hapkido as a self defence technique in its centres across India.

JSTARC the renowned Taekwondo training institute in India has been noted for its innovative programs. It plans to expand its operations in other martial arts. As the initial action, JSTARC will launch courses on the Korean martial art, Hapkido which is also an excellent self defence technique.

In the light of the above, 6 senior instructors & masters from the JSTARC team have successfully completed a training seminar at the Hanminjok Hapkido Association (World Kido Federation).

The training spanning over 3 days consisted the basic knowledge of Hapkido, warm-up exercises, ki- energy techniques (Danjangn - Basic Abdominal Breathing), techniques of jumping, attack & defence sciences, wrist techniques, falling down techniques (Nauk Bup), punching & striking, self defence techniques, basic techniques for joint locking & throwing, Hapkido kicking techniques.
After the training, an MOU was signed between the association & JSTARC making JSTARC an affiliated member of Hanminjok Hapkido Association & World Kido Federation.
The announcement of the courses & fees will be done soon. Master Nilesh Jalnawala says, "JSTARC will always strive to bring the best & latest to Indian students. Hapkido is an excellent martial art & an effective self defence technique. It is a powerful art & has lesser limitations like age group etc. We will offer basic training levels, affiliations & Dan certifications."
