About JSTARC
JSTARC, an institute formed with the vision of promoting and producing world class Sports & fitness athletes were founded in the year 1993.We have been a catalyst in popularizing modern day Taekwondo in India and are considered as a prodigy in the field of Taekwondo due to its constant endeavor in promoting and developing this Olympic sport.JSTARC is lead by Master Nilesh Jalnawala, the face instrumental in evolving a new era of Taekwondo in India. A fifth Dan Black Belt, Master Jalnawala is pursuing Taekwondo for almost 2 decades and is a name accustomed with the development of Taekwondo, especially in Navi Mumbai.He has represented India at various International level Championships and won many laurels for the country. He has also been honored with the Navi Mumbai Bhushan in 2002. His immaculate approach & attitude towards developing Taekwondo has earned him prestigious awards from Kukkiwon and the World taekwondo federation .For the last decade and a half JSTARC has evolved as an organization and revolutionized the growth and development of Taekwondo in India.
With a legacy of various Taekwondo Gymnasiums & health &Fitness Center, JSTARC is catering to the masses from various age groups with different goals and objectives. We have been constantly engaged in introducing new Training methodologies and upgrading ourselves to nurture young athletes. With the expertise of world renowned Masters and Olympic Style Training methodologies, JSTARC is progressing at rapid pace in its quest to popularize taekwondo culture in India.
Achievements of JSTARC
We have been successfull in propagating Tae Kwon Do as an Olympic Sport, an art and most importantly as a way of life. In the course of fostering extraordinary skills in bringing up role models and developing future leaders with good character and high spirits, we have achieved some of the milestone visualized while incorporating JSTARC.
- JSTARC hosted its first International event in 2004 by inviting 25 S Korean personnel from the prestigious Chung Cheong University in S. Korea.The event was an eye opener for Taekwondo practitioners in India and unfolded modern day Tae kwondo’s various aspects.
- First ever Taekwondo demonstration in India comprising of 125 members of the renowned K Tigers at Navi Mumbai for Promotion & Development of Taekwondo in India as an Olympic Sport in 2005.
- A Taekwondo Demonstration and Training Programme for the Rapid Action Force in 2004 at Kalamboli to enhance self defense techniques of our sacrosanct force personnel
- Taekwondo Training for Navi Mumbai Police Commandoes at The Commissioners Office
- A Taekwondo festival for the practitioners of Taekwondo in Vasai introducing various avenues in Taekwondo like Poomsae, Taekwondo Aerobics, Acrobatics.
- Honored with the prestigious Navi Mumbai Bhushan -2002 for excellence in Taekwondo
- JSTARC set the platform for International Referees by organizing a Referees Seminar in 2002 by Master Ki Hong Kim -8th Dan , International class 1 Referee - USA.
- A Training camp held on Poomsae and sparring in 2007 by Grandmasters Vohra from Vohra’s Martial Arts Academy (United Kingdom) an -8th Dan International referee from the WTF.
- A Training seminar on Taekwondo by respected Grandmaster Cheon, Kyung – Moon from Youngin University in S Korea.
Above all, we have been successful in inculcating a healthy lifestyle and positive approach in our clients, students, Trainers amongst various walks of life and thus continuing to build an atmosphere of success and self realization.
