Maybe this is the exact thing that our students had in mind when they started training for the Chunchoen Open & the 5th Korea OPEN championships. Our star students & medal winners Prajot Pendnekar, Chinar Deshpande, Vishak Vinod, Nidhi Nair deserve their wins in every way.

Any sport, then may it be Taekwondo, tennis, or chess. To excel it is important to have three things… proper training, focus & determination to give every attempt its best. Each student that has participated had been training vigorously for at least a year before entering such events. The entire training was championship oriented. These students put their heart & soul in these events & now they bask in the glory of their win. They have made India proud. The championships witnessed participation of about 50 countries around the world & expert players from Korea & USA. For these students to achieve medals was no easy feat. They opponents were equally capable much more experienced.

I wish to say at this moment that there is nothing impossible for Indians. We have the power to change the course of things & win in international competitions. All we have to do is attempt & give our best. Efforts are necessary in every field. One cannot win on talent alone. Training, perseverance & the ‘I Can’ attitude is your winning mantra. JSTARC is proud of its achievements & hope its students continue to put India on a pedestal of honor in various other events.
