JSTARC Achievements
In 2009:
"Nothing splendid has ever been achieved except by those who dared believe that something inside of them was superior to circumstances" & "The greatest achievement of the human spirit is to live up to one's opportunities and make the most of one's resources."
This is what was realized & accomplished by young Nidhi Nair, a student of JSTARC since 5 years. She has won a Bronze medal at the recently held 7th Chuncheon Open International Taekwondo Championship in the Individual Girls Juniors category in age group of 14 -18 years in the Poomsae division. Her achievement is a reflection of her rigorous efforts & dedication to the sport.
By her win she has not only set an example before her peers, but also proven the fact that Indians are capable of competing & winning in an international event of such echelon.
I believe, that the fact that some achieve great success, is proof to all, that others can achieve it as well. Her achievement, I wish induces inspiration & confidence in her fellow students & other players who have the great potential to shine in the international competitions & make India proud. I have seen in the years that have gone, that any task can be completed well & with finesse, when puts his heart & soul into his journey to it. In any competition meticulous training, focus at the goal, & the spirit of sportsmanship are of utmost important. JSTARC has been inculcating the same in its students.
Nidhi's triumph, I know will help others pave their path to success in further competitions. As for JSTARC, I believe our efforts have been acknowledged & faith in our students has been reinforced. Today I just to wish Nidhi the best in all her future endeavors & ask all my students & players to take up all their challenges with a dedicated mind & pure heart.
