JSTARC is proud to be the 1st affiliate institution worldwide outside South Korea to be affiliated to K Tigers. Currently there are over 160 affiliate member institutions in South Korea and only 3 worldwide outside South Korea.
About K-Tigers:
Founded in year 1990, by visionary Grand Master Ahn Hak-Sun, K-Tigers are the most advanced international Taekwondo demonstration team.
They have appeared in opening ceremonies of various international competitions such as World Taekwondo Championship (1993, 1997, 2001); Taekwondo World Cup (1994, 1996, 1997, 2000, 2002); U. S. Open Taekwondo Championship (1992,1993, 1994, 1995,1999), Sydney Olympic Taekwondo Promotion Demonstration, World Martial Arts Competition in Paris, and making 20 Demonstration Tours in U.S.A. and Europe.
K-Tigers are not only known in Korea but more widely known in United States, Europe, Middle East and in Asia. Distinguished by creative and competitive demonstrations, K-Tigers are loved by international audiences for their variety of unique works which consists of accurate Taekwondo motions and kicks based on Poomsae and held together by music. They have also grafted difficult kicking techniques with acrobatic movements, wave, break dancing and jazz, thus creating Taekwon exercises and contributing to its popularization and internationalization. The K-Tigers also have contributed enormously in widely informing basic Taekwondo, breaking, creative Poomsae and self-defense. |
