Jalnawala's Sports Training & Research Center (JSTARC)
JSTARC is an organization that was formed with an intention of promoting variousfitness & sports related programs. JSTARC currently specializes in Taekwondo. Wehave been in the field of Taekwondo since over a decade. JSTARC is the first affiliatedmember of the K-Tigers (Korea), the world's number 1 demonstration team.
JSTARC is head quartered at Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra and aims at promoting ModernTaekwondo Culture in India. JSTARC was founded in the year 1993 and has affiliateinstitutions in Bangalore, Pune and Punjab. With a team of experienced professionals& a large pool of devoted staff, it has elevated itself to the position it is today. It hassucceeded in putting together India's 1st ever Taekwondo demonstration team. Thus,JSTARC is a team complete with well-trained, well-informed and dedicated instructors,experts, trainers, advisors and visiting experts.
JSTARC is the 1st organization worldwide outside South Korea to be awarded affiliationfrom K-Tigers (Worlds Best Taekwondo Demonstration Team). With the expertiseof world-renowned Masters and Olympic Style Training methodologies, JSTARC isprogressing at rapid pace in its quest to popularize Taekwondo Culture in India.
Every year JSTARC ensures that its team members visit South Korea to specializedinstitutions / universities imparting world-class training in different aspects ofTaekwondo. Going forward JSTARC plans to provide the same opportunity to thousandsof clubs in India. This will create the basis for India to win laurels at various InternationalChampionships and World Level Taekwondo Games. Many of its students have wonmedals in world-class championships.
With a member base of about 1,000, we are one of the fastest growing Taekwondoorganizations in India. We have trained over 1000's of students, which include notonly school or college students but also professionals who want to make their career inModeling, Films, etc. More than 100 students have passed the black belt and batchesof promising students have been taken to Korea for competitions, further training etc.Our star students have won accolades for their performance & medals at internationalcompetitions. A few students of great potential are currently being trained for the LondonOlympics.
In Taekwondo, JSTARC has regular classes & coaching sessions in Poomsae, …..& modern versions like Taekwondo Dance, Aerobics, Acrobatics & Demonstrationtechniques. With JSTARC, one, not only gets an introduction to the world of Taekwondo,but also gets the 360 degrees experience of the martial art form.
Now with its introduction of Hapkido, Boxing, Yoga, Sports Massage etc. it hasbroadened its boundaries in both sports & fitness areas.
After proudly hosting the 1st edition of its flagship event at D. Y. Patil Sports Stadium in2009 covering seminars, competitions and grand demonstrations; this year in April 2011at Shri Shiv Chhatrapati International Sports Complex, Balewadi, Pune. The 2nd editionis now referred to as 'Jalnawala's International Martial Art Summit' and the plan to takethe event to the world audience. We also plan to launch the Indian Hapkido Federation topopularize the martial form across all corners of Indian republic under the aegis of WorldKido Federation.
With a broader vision of the future, JSTARC with the above event plans to unify thevarious martial arts under its flagship company Jalnawala's
