Two members of JSTARC Management Team – Master Nilesh Jalnawala (CEO & Technical Director) and Master Biju Nair (Head – Marketing & PR) visited Korea from June 2nd to June 13th, 2010 to strengthen bonds with Kukkiwon, K-Tigers and other leading Masters / Dojangs in Korea.

Highlights of the visit:

• Visit to Kukkiwon: Meeting with the Secretary General and members of the International Affairs Department to appraise developments in India pertaining to
• Taekwondo matters in general in India
• JSTARC’s performance in the year 2007-09
• JSTARC’s mission for 2010-12
  
• Visit @ K-Tigers World HQ: The visit paved way for landmark decision/s that led to signing of an holistic MoU between the two organizations and leveraged combined resources towards scaling up Taekwondo programs in a structured manner in India. It brought forward the commitment by Grand Master Ahn Hak Sun and Master Nilesh Jalnawala to ensure that India achieves its glory on World Arena in a registered period – ideas to action. It also showed the trust that the K-Tigers have in JSTARC Management Team to deliver results from the larger canvas called India.
  
• Visits to World-renowned Grand Masters: All of them have reassured their faith and confidence in Master Nilesh and their commitment to the Indian cause.
  
• The visit initiated start of relationship with various Korean Universities that have specialized Taekwondo Departments for academic progress, research and student engagement programs in Taekwondo for world audience. Some of the universities are keen to tap the Indian audience using JSTARC’s local knowledge and reach.
